|
16. Guidelines for picking print size.
The quality of the print depends on the resolution i.e. width and height in pixels,
of the image you upload, the compression factor of the image and on the print size. The higher the pixel resolution and lower the compression,
in your digital image, the better the print quality.
You can choose to print your image at any size you desire. We recommend the following sizes depending on the resolution of your digital image.
Images printed at sizes higher than the recommended values, may appear grainy.
Image Resolution ( in pixels ) |
Max. Recommended Print Size ( in inches ) |
| 640 X 480 and below |
Wallet size (smaller than 4 X 6). 4 X 6 prints may appear grainy.
To maintain the quality of the prints, we may print them smaller than 4 X 6. |
| 800 X 600 and above |
4 X 6 |
| 1024 X 768 and above |
4 X 6. At 5 X 7, prints may appear grainy. |
| 1152 X 864 and above |
5 X 7 |
| 1600 X 1200 and above |
8 X 10 |
Since the height and width in pixels (600x800, 768x1024,...etc) of digital
camera images, is not in the same proportion as the print's height and
width in inches (4x6, 5x7 or 8x10), there will be some cropping of the
image at the sides or there may be a white border, when it is printed.

17. Why do you need the phone number in the shipping address?
This field is optional. In case of problems in locating the shipping address
for the courier, the courier can call the phone number to get help in locating the address.
|
18. Sample personal letter. You must use HTML tags.
When writing the personal letter, you must
use the HTML tags for a newline or a new paragraph. In simple terms this
means, after you type ENTER, also type the letters <br>. If you
would like to start a new paragraph in your letter, enter the letters
<p>. These are called HTML tags. The <p> will act as if you
have typed more than a single ENTER on the screen.
A sample letter with these tags is shown below (you can copy and paste this text into your letter and then edit it):

Dear Mamma and Papa,
<p>
These are the pictures of our trip to Florida last month. We stayed
there for an entire week. The weather was just perfect and the kids
enjoyed it too.
<p>
Let us know when you receive the pictures.
<p>
Lots of love.
